Background - Reacting to an enquiry from Thanet District Council, Marco were asked to provide a design that could provide the Safer Communities project with a mobile outreach centre for the night time community.
The Safer Communities Partnership involves The Emergency Services and Local Authorities working together to provide essential services and information. Our design provides each service in four distinct and seperate rooms as can be seen.
Information area and councelling room - The information area features a comfortable wipe clean upholstered seat, 42” LCD TV with DVD player and 2.1 sound system, lined walls to accept velcro fixed graphics and 8 wall mounted leaflet dispensers. The councelling room is secured with a PIN numbered lock and also features upholstered seating and a full height storage cupboard.
Entrance -
Aluminium entrance steps with hand rails and a portable access ramp lead up to the fully glazed (toughened) UPVC french doors. The entrance takes you to the information area and hall way leading to the councelling room, treatment room and interview room.
Treatment Room - This room is lined in wipe clean scratch resistant composite laminate and trimmed. It features a treatment couch, wall mounted storage system with fitted locking cupboard and drawer, work surface with sink and mixer tap with instant hot water delivery system. Interview Room -
Features lined walls to accept velcro fixed graphics and an interview table with two to four chairs as required. |
