Designed in conjunction with Lancashire division, the treatment unit was one of two ordered for delivery in 2009; Due to a recent
change in operating procedure the second unit, only recently completed, is deemed surplus to requirement and Marco have been
asked to find a new owner.
The unit was a star attraction at the recent Emergency Services Show with many divisions of St John Ambulance taking a keen
interest as they visited the stand. Said John Bird of St John, Lancashire division; ‘I have been more than impressed with the quality
of the first unit received, the assistance offered during the design and manufacture really enabled us to secure a treatment unit that
is constantly in use and often admired!’
Packed full of features this treatment unit will benefit most divisions including: (In the treatment area) twin opening rear doors c/w
windows, two treatment tables separated with cubicle curtains, prep area with hot and cold running water, F size oxygen bottle
retainers, plenty of storage and two folding seats. In the welfare area there is a galley c/w sink, microwave and fridge. Plenty of
storage and a radio work station.
Power is provided by an onboard LPG fuelled super quiet generator; LPG also provides heating and hot water storage; the unit is
complemented with the addition of air condition in both compartments.
If your division is looking for a new treatment unit we highly recommend enquiring about this model!
John Bird comments ‘I have no hesitation recommending this unit or Marco Trailers to potential St John Divisions’
