1st December 09: Emergency Services Show : RNLI : United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust : Cheshire West
November was a busy month for Marco. We attended the Emergency Services Show at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire with four of our units:- Motorised Retinal Screening Unit, Treatment Trailer, RNLI Lifeguard Unit and an X25 kindly loaned back to us by Birmingham Resillience Group. The show was a great success with much interest shown in the Motorised Unit and Treatment Trailer. We also found a fantastic Italian restaurant in Leamington Spa - La Coppola - highly recommended by the Marco team!

November was also a busy month in terms of productivity. An X60 Treatment Trailer for St John Lancashire (2nd of 2 units) which incorporates a twin bay treatment area with sink and a dedicated crew area. An MX50 Motorised Retinal Screening Unit for United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust which incorporated a slide out Pod to create extra room in the patients waiting area. An X40 Exhibition Unit for Cheshire West and Chester Council. Also currently in production are another five RNLI Lifeguard Units.

1st June 09: New Marco Website Launched
New website launched, 1st June 2009!

Welcome to our entirely new website, designed to reflect fully the scope and status of the Marco brand today!

Since our inception in 1964, Marco has evolved into much more than a trailer company. We trust, whilst browsing these easy-to-navigate pages, you’ll discover something of interest about us and our products. We welcome your feedback!

1st June 09: New X25 unit leaves the factory destined for Northamptonshire County Council
Our smaller X25 & 30 range of dedicated exhibition trailers has now sold in excess of 60 units since their introduction in 2004. Public sector organisations are high on the list of users, an excellent example of which you can see on the Maritime and Coastguard Agency case study page.

1st June 09: Steve Beattie from Volvo flies in from Dubai
Steve Beattie - Network & Competence Development Manager at Volvo Car Overseas Corporation, Middle Eastern Region - flies in from Dubai to inspect and sign off one of four office/showroom suites destined for the United Arab Emirates. This was a fantastic opportunity to design a mobile office suite that met the towing weight constraints of an XC90 and gratefully accepted by Marco when others were reluctant to take on the challenge. Each unit has air con, double glazed entrance and separate office, but, most importantly features interior and exterior décor that fit VNF (Volvo Next Face) guidelines including the all important Volvo Blue Shield.

20th May 09: RNLI Lifeguard beach stations delivered
the first of 17 new RNLI Lifeguard beach stations leave on their way to beaches on the Lincolnshire coastline. After the success of the first Marco SPB (Special Purpose Body) units in 2008, the RNLI again contracted Marco to supply much needed facilities for their expanding Lifeguard service. Please have a look at this unique and fascinating RNLI case study.
